Reel Men Prayer
A Special Invitation to all Men
A ministry designed specifically for men. Join us in REEL MEN.
We meet weekly at 6:00 A.M. every Thursday morning at St. Mark’s Church. And for those unable to make such an early meeting, we also meet at 7:00 P.M. every Thursday evening at St. Mark’s. All men are invited to attend either session. It’s a great opportunity for prayer and fellowship with men who seek to know God and develop a closer relationship with Jesus. Looking forward to seeing you!!!
We open with prayer; a great opportunity to pray for our intentions and express our gratitude for the many blessings we have received. The first half of the hour is for open discussion. We share experiences of our own Faith journey, discuss issues of the day, share what we’ve learned through books, CD’s, DVD’s or whatever we may be reading. It’s a chance to share our God experiences with one another, and encourage one another in our own individual Faith journey.
During the last half hour, we study the Scripture readings for the upcoming Sunday and discuss what they might mean to us, and how they might apply to this day and age.
The purpose of the “Reel Men” ministry is to challenge men in their spiritual journeys as husbands, fathers, grandfathers, brothers, sons, and mentors. In this journey, it is expected that men will gain a deeper understanding of Christ’s message as shared through His Church. In doing so, we seek to become better in those roles enumerated above, as well as becoming more prominent spiritual leaders in our families, in our communities, and in our Church.
