The St. Mark’s Food Bank’s mission is to gather, manage and distribute resources to families or individuals in a crisis situation. Donation of food and monetary donations from parishioners to the St. Jude Fund are used to support this ministry. Volunteers staff the center.
Thanks to all who contribute to the St. Jude Fund. Money received from this fund is used to buy food and essential items for those in need.

The Knights of Columbus Ministry, St. Mark’s School students and staff, St. Mark’s parishioners, Bishop Kelly High School students and staff, St. Stephens Episcopal Church parishioners,. Special thanks to Fresca who provides a generous supply of tortillas and Franz Bakery who provides unlimited bread for our food bank to provide to the hungry.
Ever wonder what goes into the bags given out at the food bank? Here is a list:
- 2 cans each of vegetables, fruit, tuna, pork and beans, soup
- 1 can of spaghetti sauce
- 1 package of spaghetti
- 2 boxes of macaroni and cheese
- 1 box of cereal
- 1 jar each of peanut butter and jelly
- As well as milk, eggs, meat, and bread.
