Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Jim spent time during WWII and beyond in the Navy, married Terry in 1950, helped raise six children, retired from General Dynamics in 1982, shortly after having been ordained a deacon in San Diego, California. Jim and Terry moved to Boise in 1988. Deacon Jim assists where needed in Liturgy, witnesses weddings and helps with vigils and funerals.

Deacon Mike Lowe works as needed in the Liturgy. In addition Mike does baptism preparation; works with outreach to those who want help before a funeral or to help with planning a vigil or funeral; trains Extraordinary Ministers for Communion; and helps to prepare couples for and witnesses Weddings.

Deacon Joe is in charge of Outreach Ministry to the sick and homebound and leads a team of nearly 50 people who visit over 130 sick or homebound every week. In addition, Deacon Joe works as needed in the Liturgy and assists with the Latino Ministry.
