Grades 3rd-5th Faith Formation (Club Ichthys)
A large part of being a Catholic is participating in community. Children learn this as they explore their faith with peers and catechists in a comfortable setting. 3rd, 4th and 5th graders participate in catechesis together through a “club” format. Our sessions are broken into three parts; Sunday Scripture Study, Theme Study Focus and Community Time.
Class times for 3rd-5th graders are offered on Sundays 9:40-10:55 am, Wednesday afternoons 4:30-6:00 pm and Wednesday evenings 6:30-8:00 pm. Please contact Nancy Brennan for available spaces and questions at 375-6651 ext. 111.
Children’s Liturgy of the Word: St. Mark’s Catholic Community is committed to providing Children’s Liturgy of the Word at both the 8:30 and 11:00 Sunday Masses as regularly as possible. We love our wonderful stewards who have volunteered to lead the children one Sunday a month! If you wish to be trained to lead in this ministry let Nancy Brennan know.
Our needs for this ministry are pretty simple and small. We are always in need of people to come support the ministry leader at both Mass times. No planning on the helper’s part is necessary. If this is something you are willing to do, please call Nancy Brennan at 375-6651 or email her at nbrennan@stmarksboise.org.
